The Traveling Pentaxian: Davao

It’s been a looooong time!

I was so busy and buried in work that I didn’t have time to post in the Pentax Hunter. But lotsa work meant lotsa traveling (I work as a producer in a travel show). So here are some pics of some of my latest travels all over the Philippines.

First up, Davao City. The largest city in the Philippines. This is my first time here and it didn’t disappoint. Davao is just like Manila in many ways but different also in many ways. Streets cleaner, people are friendlier.

I enjoyed the trip immensely. So here are some pics…

Places visited: Philippine Eagle Center, Malagos Garden Resort, Crocodile Park, Tribu K’Mindanawan, Deca Wakeboard Park, and many many more!

We went to the Crocodile Park, well it wasn’t just that, crocodiles in a park, they had an animal show ala Kuya Kim… my kid would have been entertained. I was amused. But the real star of the Crocodile Park Complex for me was the Tribu K’Mindanawan Dance Troupe. They showcased dances from different tribes of Mindanao and culminated with a one of a kind fire dance show.

I was really amazed at how well they performed! Here are some snippets from the show. Taken with KR and DA16-45.

Maraming salamat Davao City!

Up Next, Iligan City!
